It’s Storming. . .But God!
It’s Storming. . .But God!
When = Even though, because, in case, away from - “When” is synonymous with “If” = (in case that, granting, allowing, or supposing that, condition of. . .)
This “When” we are talking about at this moment, relates to a specific time, or moment, thus creating an “if” statement, causing you to lose focus, allowing your peace to be disturbed.
Has anyone other than me been stuck in the “When?” Be honest?
When will I get out of this
When will this be over
When will I be able to get this reversed
When. . . Just when God!
When I get the money, I will. . .
When I get the job, I will. . .
God said to me; “Son, the storm (circumstances) are not your issue, the “When” is. . . You are so focused on time, you are missing the fact that I Am outside of time, and I Am in control of all things, in Heaven and on earth. Time is a cage you try to keep Me in, and your thinking in the midst of it is predicated on “when” so much that you do not remember My Word - “I will be with you always. . .” So you limit Me from propelling you to the other side of this circumstance - Take The “When” Out and see how I will bless you. . .”
There is a reason God sent this series to us, for this season, and I am not sure how long He will have us here, but my desire is to give us what we need, for I believe we are preparing for what is to come. And you will need to know that His Word is the only way we will be able to be steadfast - immovable - abounding!
The flesh is desperately wicked, and the Bible says that we must continue always in The Spirit, less we will fulfill the lust of the flesh - Galatians 5:16–18“16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”
We have been conditioned by the world’s systems to panic when we are faced with difficulties, trials, tests, and unknowns, but God has sent me with His Word today, telling us to “Take The “When” Out!”
I didn’t say this last week, why it is not about us, and One reason is found in John 15:21 “21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.”
Because you know Him, and Only Believe, then you have enough Power to know that it is not about me, but all about The Power Of God in me! Zechariah 4:6 “6 So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.”
We know that “Wind” can represent breathe, which gives life - so when you take the “wind” out, you remove the life of it, and it will flee from you!
The Disciples have been commissioned by Jesus, to go to the other side, which I believe to mean - Change Your Thinking!
Because where you are heading, and what it will take for you to get there, will cost you something, and you cannot go on this journey with those lenses you had before your knew who you are in Me!
The flesh desires to keep you in “fight or flight” mode, so much that your peace is so disturbed you cannot even see that The Answer is in the midst of the storm with you!
Mark 4:38 “38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?””
God has not instructed you to go to the other side, be in the vehicle with you and allow you to perish!
We can admit, we too have asked God similar questions - GOD “WHEN?”
John 3:16 “16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
You have The Word of The Lord, all you have to do now is just remain in His Promises!
There was a time when it was a famine in the land, besides the first famine - similitude - and God instructed Isaac to not go down to Egypt, but live in the land he was instructed to live in, by God! God told Isaac that he would be blessed, as his father was blessed, because his father obeyed God’s Voice and kept His Charge, Commandments, Statutes and Laws. . . This is The Word from God Himself (YAHWEH) . . . So Isaac dwelt there, but Genesis 26:7 “7 And the men of the place asked about his wife. And he said, “She is my sister”; for he was afraid to say, “She is my wife,” because he thought, “lest the men of the place kill me for Rebekah, because she is beautiful to behold.””
I know the storm is raging in your life right now, but God is with you, and He wants you to know that even in the midst of it all - Hebrews 4:9 “9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.”
Jesus was sleeping, and He knew the track to the other side would involve a storm on the way, but yet He was resting in it - The Disciples were being beaten by the waves, and noticed, it wasn’t until the boat was filling up, they had “no faith!”
Don’t allow what you see to render you faithless, God just know that God is in control of it! Yes, He arose, and Mark says that He rebuked the wind, but Jesus said; “Peace, be still!” and the wind ceased and there was a great calm. . .
Mark 4:40 “40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”” Do not allow fear to torment you, when you know that The Power of Me, reside in you!
Mark 4:41 “41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”” Was it the winds obeying Him, or was it Jesus giving us an example on how we can manage in the midst of the storms?
Yes - He can calm the storms, but what is better in the storm, than a calmed “You?” Because when you have peace in the storm, you won’t make decisions without an answer! Haggai 2:4 “4 Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the Lord; ‘and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the Lord, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
It does not matter “When” all that matters that while I am in the midst of it, I know He is with me and will never leave me nor forsake me, so now I praise Him, for I have taking the “When” out, and resting now, so the only “When” I have now is:
When I get to the other side!
When I think back over my life!
When I think of His Goodness. . .
When I think of how He kept me, even when I did not want to be kept!
When consider His Ways above my ways, He will bring me to an expected end!
